CONCERT AND EXHIBITION / 2024
“WALKING ON ARCTIC WATER”
A unique project in the Arctic thats never been done before ...
A 3 years of "study" was in 2024 conducted into a exhibition and a unique outdoor show with audience, musicians , actors, dancers and Artwork projected in mega-size format... We might do it again!
Water creates...
On its long journey through the rivers high up in the North, on its way out of the Atlantic, magic occurs. When the cold for a few weeks has an impact on crystal clear water, its transformed into solid treasures that can be viewed and captured by us who want to seek them trough. Ice does not have a regular atomic structure, and can therefore unfold into all those fabulous shapes. Perishable and fascinating!

UNIQUE ARTWORK PRESENTED IN MEGA-SIZE FORMAT / 2024
"Walking on Arctic Water" is a project about life-cycles, climate change, impermanence, and nature's complexity which we humans are a part of.
Nature and WE are subject to the same transience. We are all part of nature: We ARE nature
On February 13 th 2024, the ski jumping-hill in Fageråsen was transformed into Northern Norway's largest outdoor "screen" where Rigmor Teigen Figenschau and Robert Selfors shared their three-year project "Walking on Arctic Water". 200 artworks were projected with a laser projector on a snow-covered ski jumping hill".
The world-renowned ice musician Terje Isungset, Amalie Holst Kleive & Joakim Selfors contributed to the fusion of images and music in a completely unique setting that elevates the presence. "Reflection statements" was performed by Nordland Theater.
Theme for reflection: "The journey of the water molecule" - climate change - life - impermanence. Never before have you seen the pride of the city exposed like this.
A big thank you to all sponsors*, Bodø 2024 and Nordland Teater.

EXHIBITION 02.2024
THE CITYHALL
Calm is not the absence of the arctic storm....
Inner peace is rather finding peace in the middle of the storm.
Traveling into a cool and beautiful northern Norwegian landscape can help you
grasp the luxurious inner peace that life offers.

It's cold to the centre of the spinal cord. A couple of fingers are going to get frost-damages. But even the Arctic winter cannot stop the eyes from being drawn towards new impressions and treasures.... and the body follows... It has been many hours outdoors...
"Nordland" - Rough, harsh, hospitable and inhospitable - all at the same time. This is the "land of light" - but also with the darkest darkness.
People are always surprised to find light in the dark - beautiful light....

A stort summary from the MUCART-fair in München/ Munich. The feedback has been great and people find the project very interesting and unique. I will be great to be back next year.
The prestigious Gallery Gaudi presents some of Rigmor- and Roberts Artworks from the project “Walking on Arctic Water” at MUC Art fair in Munich. 1th -4th of May 🙏
Walking on Arctic water” is about an emotional journey, where doors to a new world have revealed themselves in all their lushness and complexity. WOAW has given us a greater awareness.
We are all part of nature. We are part of the cycle of life like water. We are part of the moment, the transformation and the same vulnerability that water undergoes on its cyclical journey...
Through the project, we have increasingly come to accept that Mother Earth is “bleeding”. The icebergs that are calving out of the glaciers at an ever-increasing pace are our time’s symbols of man-made climate change.
Are the ice and the four seasons soon part of a bygone era, as a result of greed, desire and lack of respect for Mother Earth….
